Meriden Terms and Conditions

Using this site means accepting these rules and limits. Stop using it if you do not agree.

This privately owned site is not connected with any government, police department, jail, or correctional agency. Neither it nor its advertising partners provides FCRA-covered credit, employment, insurance, or tenant-screening services. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of This Site

This private reference points visitors toward Meriden police, Connecticut correctional, court, supervision, and outside research resources. It stores no official records and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or file a government document.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the site responsibly. They may not break the law, stalk or threaten another person, make a credit, hiring, housing, insurance, or other regulated decision from site content, attempt unauthorized access, run bots or scrapers, or disrupt service for others.

No Consumer Reports

The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Users agree not to use its content for hiring or firing, tenancy, creditworthiness, insurance pricing, licensing, government-program eligibility, or any other FCRA-covered purpose.

Links to Outside Services

Links may lead to government portals, correctional systems, legal resources, or outside search providers. A link is not an endorsement. This site is not responsible for an outside operator’s content, privacy practices, terms, prices, or uptime.

Provided Without Warranties

The site and all content are provided “as is.” No warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or matched by every partner result. Custody and public records can change quickly. Nothing here is an official government statement.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other losses arising from access, use, inability to use, or reliance on the site or an outside service.

User Indemnification

A user agrees to defend and hold the site, its operators, and partners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from that user’s conduct, misuse of information, or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Site text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Meriden County Released Inmates or the relevant content partner. They may not be copied, distributed, republished, or modified without written permission, except where law allows.

Terms May Change

These terms can be revised at any time. A new version becomes effective when posted. Continued use after posting signals acceptance of the revised terms.

Access May End

The site may limit, suspend, or revoke access at any time, for any lawful reason, with or without prior notice.

Connecticut Law Governs

Connecticut law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Connecticut.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain effective. The affected provision will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it valid.
